The past few years have been a whirlwind of emotions and experiences for me, from hugely challenging to extraordinary. These experiences have completely changed my perspectives on life.
We sometimes hear the stages of our life being referred to as "chapters," and for me it's been an inspirational analogy. But what the last few years have taught me is that you just can't or should not skip any of your chapters.
Some of my recent chapters have left me feeling so sad and lost, I have laid awake all night wondering what to do next, while others have been so awesome, like The Last Step Into Action 30 Hour walk, that I never wanted them to end.
But just like any good book, each chapter plays a role in shaping our overall story. We have to attempt to get to know all the characters, face and grow from the challenges, and enjoy the victories.
Unlike a book we can't peek ahead and see what the next chapter holds. This can be scary, right? But maybe that's where the real magic lies
Turning the next Page with Step into Action
The key, for me, has been to continue to work on my resilience skills so I keep turning my pages and embrace what that chapter offers me.
